The Winged Ones

In the Realms of Myth and Fantasy, all things are possible. Even legend given life with form and breath. Such a creature is the Wynd of Warp named Legend as Told. She was quite unlike most other that lived in the Heights. Talons instead of hooves, the head of a gryphon, and a body seemingly formed of celestial stuff.

She surveyed the world from above, soaring on silent wings. She was more of a watcher than a keeper. The others were allowed to do as they wished, she rarely interfered, that was not her purpose. However, being one of the more powerful inhabitants of the Heights, she accepted the role of protector against forces from the outside.

It was rare that she ever needed to use her talons against even the most aggressive foes. Generally her presence was enough to send them away. And so she remained on the outside looking in, and prefering it that way.
