The Hidden Mountain Pass

A sort of canine appears proudly wearing a pair of reindeer antlers strapped to her head. She hummed Jingle Bells and hopped along as she walked. At the end of the song she stopped, posed, closed her eyes and sang the last few words. Singing wasn't one of her strengths apparently, but she was too happy to care. Seeing you she trots over. "Merry Christmas! I'm Seasonjoy, a Kartyn'dryoso. Do humans celebrate Christmas too?" The she frowns, "You are human, right?" You nod and reply that some humans do. Seasonjoy seems happy. "Good, so your people are not completely lost. Imagine not having Christmas! It's Christmas all year round in my little corner of this Realm." Then a second voice picked up the carol, this one was beautiful, like the chiming of a thousand crystal bells all in perfect harmony. Seasonjoy looked a little jealous but couldn't deny her friend's lovely voice. "That is Caroljoy."

She was white with red highlights, and fur coat was thick to keep her warm. She smiled at you but continued to sing. Seasonjoy joined in and eventually you gathered the courage to do so as well. After all, no one was watching, no one would tell. Eventually you realized that you were no longer cold but downright freezing, so you bid them farewell for now and headed for warmer regions.
