The Hidden Mountain Pass

There were three creatures here, and they seemed to be playing together. The first, a large blue female ran swiftly along the ground, translucent fins flowing in the wind. The closest in pursuit was a winged male with beautiful black and purple markings. The third, another winged male pulled back his wings and stopped the chase to peer at you with his rainbow eyes.

He sort of hovered there, saying nothing until the other two ran up to investigate your appearance as well. Both males hovered while the female came closer to see how you smelled. Apparently you smelled just fine, because she spoke to you in a sweet musical voice.

"Hello. I'm Ocean Tide and these two males are brothers, Dark Amethyst and Emerald Blaze. We're Rainbow-Eyed Lunaires from the Isle Of Varain." You realized that was where the Leverines you had just visited came from.

"We were just playing. We chose to live on this plateau because there's lots of room for us to run around and stretch our legs. Well my legs anyway. Amethyst and Blaze prefer to stretch their wings." The brothers roll their colourful eyes at the bad joke.

As they ran far too fast for you to play with them, you decide not to interrupt their games any longer and continue your mountain journey. The point you in a direction they say has some interesting creatures and they run off in the same order in which they had arrived.
